Karista Hannah is the founder and lead designer of Set The Stage. An experienced design professional, she was educated at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Hannah worked for one of the top manufacturing representatives in Florida, and traveled throughout the state presenting furniture and textile lines to interior designers and architects. She has held interior design positions with national homebuilders, and has experience in single family, condominium, and commercial/mixed use developments. While studying Interior Design at Western Kentucky University, Kaelin had the opportunity to intern at Set The Stage and work with the talented team on award winning homes in the community and at Homearama. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design in 2015, she became a full time designer at Set The Stage. Kaelin has an innate passion and eye for aesthetics. She takes pride in balance and the use of natural details and her unique ability to re-purpose creates spaces where clients feel at home. Her go-to design includes high contrast with modern coastal elements and soft layering textures. Kaelin loves to help others achieve a space that aligns with their personal style while still being functional and comfortable. Kaelin tackles all re-model and re-design projects within the company alongside Haley.
Haley Mueller, originally from Marietta, GA graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Previously she worked at a furniture retail store here in Louisville but wanted to be involved in the entire interior design process, which led her to Set the Stage. She loves that being a designer here brings her the ability to be creative in every aspect of her day and adapt to each client’s taste. Her favorite spaces feature natural light and greenery, showcasing rustic pieces and subtle boho patterns.
Tayler is married and has two beautiful boys. Her background is in retail. She managed a local clothing store for the past 11 years. Tayler has enjoyed working on her personal house over the years and can't wait to assist other clients in the store. She has a tremendous sense of style and is so excited to be apart of the Set The Stage team!
Stephanie Hillner graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Sciences. After graduating, she was an underwriter for Bank of America for nearly 10 years. In 2014, after having two children, she decided to be a stay at home mom and works her own business with Wildtree by helping busy women with meal planning. She also decided to come on board with Set the Stage in the Fall of 2015 to handle all of the billing and payroll.
